Spells use the Magery skill to cast. There are 8 levels of spells, called spheres. Each level requires a minimum Magery level to cast. A player can buy a spell book from the magic shop, or if they have chosen magery as one of their starting skills, will be given a spell book at character creation. In order to obtain spells to cast, you must first obtain the spell scroll. These can be purchased either at the magic shop, for lower level spells, or are obtained from monsters and treasure chests around the world. A scribe can also craft scrolls that you can purchase or trade for in order to add them to your spell book. In order to add a spell to your spell book, simply drag and drop the scroll on top of the spell book that you wish to add the spell to.
